The Volume Settings Folder
M. Beckmann is a musician who comes from the foggy countrysides of north-east Italy. The Volume Settings Folder is his latest experimental project and consists of music inspired by the ambient, drone and post-rock genres. Embellished are field recordings and provocative noise sketches as the aim of the project is to fuse pre-existing genres into free form improvisation.
“A Path Left, A Step Right” is his first album, a summary of the dark-drone-oriented production during fall-winter 2011/12.
